I've been working on computers and technology for about as long as I could read at an adult level. I taught myself programming at age 13. I got involved with Linux and the open source community as a freshman in college.
I studied at an unheard of college in a legendarily provincial city best known for producing tractors. After college, I started working as a web developer at a nearby large e-commerce company. Soon after, I jumped into the world of technology startups. I have worked as a developer (or programmer, software engineer, whatever vague term you prefer) across several companies with many different technologies and products. I discovered that I enjoy infosec / cyber-security the most. And so that is the ends to which I am now devoting my professional pursuits.
